Thomas Alfred PETERS (son of Samuel Leonard PETERS and Phoebe TILLEY) was born 6 December 1842 in New Brunswick. He died 17 Septemer 1935 at the home of his daughter Bessie in Hampton, Kings County, New Brunswick. Partner in a tannery with his brother William in St. John, then a cattle farmer in Hampton, then Deputy Commissioner in the provincial Department of Agriculture for 12 years, then a fruit inspector. This family can be found in the 1881 Wellington Ward, St. John, New Brunswick census and the 1901 Queens Ward, Fredericton, New Brunswick census. Thomas Alfred Peters made a will dated 18 March 1931 which names his second wife and children. Lengthy obituary for Thomas Alfred in the Globe 18 September 1935.
